Raquel Chmielewski is an experienced institutional investor with a 15-year track record and a background in private equity and investment banking.
She serves as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at the Fikes Family Office (FFO), managing and coordinating all aspects of investment activities consistent with its mission, objectives and established policies. Raquel joins the FFO after over five years as Director of Investments at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) endowment, doing total portfolio investment and management. Raquel previously served as a private markets investor at Lockheed Martin Investment Management Company (LMIMCo) for eight years, where she co-managed strategy and investing for its global private equity, venture capital and distressed debt funds. Prior to that she was a venture capital associate at Columbia Capital and in Financial Sponsors Group investment banking at JPMorgan.
Raquel has served on the board of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) for two terms and holds a BA and MA in Economics from Boston University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
